WOW

This is for all my girlfriends, who are normal, love-to-shop and would not miss a chance to pamper one-self with the ultimate beauty experience available in the city. I wanted to share a fascinating experience in a parlor that i tried last evening. It is located inside a shopping mall- which justifies its rates being on the higher side for a beauty experience. It has a feel-good setting inside. The staff is hospitable. The service was provided without any delay. All of these could amount to any good local parlour close to ur home.

I spent close to 1.5 hrs there. What i found different was- my manicure session. There was a long list of manicure services to choose from, fruit manicure, french manicure, spa manicure, to name a few. Since my hands were begging for some royal attention, i decided to go for a fruit manicure service. The girl went to work immediately and requested me to sit in a push back massage chair. Yeah! Can u believe that?!!! They have massage chairs to sit in, while they do the pampering. She operated the remote control and set it for 30 mins of massage time. It felt amazing to get a back and head massage, when otherwise you would be forced to stare into the ceiling or watch an uninteresting program on TV or watch the boring manicure procedure, as you would not have free hands to hold a magazine. She started off with immersing my palms into a bowl of warm water and put in some cream/stones into it. Followed by the nail filing, cuticle removing, zzzzz.....i just closed my eyes and enjoyed the massage for my back! After completing the usual list of manicure treatments, she went into the kitchen and returned back after 10 min, with a bowl of hand crushed papaya. She spread it on my arms and massaged it into the skin for 5 mins. She then applied a cream and spread more papaya crush onto my hands. She covered the hands with a transparent foil and further covered it with hot towels. I looked like i was involved in a hit-and-run accident with 2 damaged hands.

After a long wait of15 mins, i was released from the bandages and heaved a sigh of relief :-)

That brings us to the end of my WOW experience and for your information,
WOW stands for World Of Wellness and it is the name of the parlor.
