Summer vacation at its best!

It has been long since i penned down incidents in my life. The reason behind which is NOT because nothing fascinating is happening in my life. There have been too many good memories to jot down in the past one month. TOUCH WOOD. ( I have always wondered why we use the term "TOUCH WOOD". Basically, i am a lazy bone who does not want to go to the Google website to fulfill my everlasting doubts, unless i am in the mood for it!) . I am not going to brag about wonderful things in my life and bore the world. This should be good reason to continue reading this post without yawning your head off.

It is so true when they say that every journey in life would involve us learning something new and teaching someone else a new thing. Similar was the journey i had last evening with my bestest (its an invented word- so do not waste time by grabbing the Oxford dictionary and looking for it!) pals.

Things that i learnt:

1. How a soon-to-be-wed bride is working hard on maintaining her size zero figure with healthy eating habits and constant work-outs.
2. How much joy and happiness can a baby give its newly turned parents by crying when they are on the verge of gulping their favourite cuisine and by smiling when he/she is fast asleep.
3. What an Eternity ring is.
4. How safe it is when you say NO to drinking a new brand of coffee after a fulfilling meal. My pals ordered for Lebanese coffee after our Lebanese meal of kebabs and sheesh-touks. Lebanese coffee = 4 or more tablespoons of strong coffee powder in a small coffee cup. With no sugar, it would taste like a bitter drink which you would order to punish someone.
5. How romantic it feels to be at the foot of the tallest tower in the world, on a Tuesday evening, by ignoring the fact that the temperature is a scorching 50 degrees.

Things that i managed to teach someone special:

1. World famous car brands that i proudly know about, by taking one look at the symbol or the design of the car. Lucky for me, every other car on the roads in Dubai were a different make. I convinced her how handy it would be to make an impression, while living in happening cities like the UK and Dubai.
2. Post wedding tips to make life easy and comfy when becoming a part of a whole new family. Wow, isn't that an achievement!

Well, that was indeed a memorable trip that i would so like to have again before my vacation ends;)
